PTSA Super Sale Celebrates 60 Years

The Pittsford PTSA will host its 60th annual Super Sale on October 17-19, from 3-8 p.m., in the Pittsford Mendon High School gymnasium. Pre-sale for PCSD staff and Super Sale volunteers begins on October 16 from 3-8 p.m.

The PTSA Super Sale is a volunteer-run rummage sale of gently used, donated items. Available items range from furniture, toys, baby items, sports equipment, musical instruments, books, games, puzzles, housewares, lamps, electronics, rugs, home decor, linens, holiday decorations, clothing, shoes, jewelry, garden and outdoor items, tools, and more.

The Super Sales opens to the public on Tuesday, October 17 from 3-8 p.m. Items will be 50% off on October 18, and October 19 includes a bag-it sale to fill a bag for $5 and discover deals on large items.

This traditional event celebrates 60 years of raising funds to contribute to student enrichment programs throughout the District. Programs include, but are not limited to, visiting authors, speakers, cultural opportunities, arts, field trips, and library support, among others. Last year, the Super Sale event raised an impressive $51,000, thanks to the support of 250 volunteers and 2,175 shoppers.

Families with items to donate may drop off items on October 14 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., and on October 15, from 9 a.m. until Noon. Any items that go unsold are collected by local community charities.
