SUTHERLAND HIGH SCHOOL
- Weijun Wang, Grand Prize Winner and opportunity to perform with the RPO; Winner of the Mildred and Julius Ness Award for Piano
- Lina Yang, Winner of the Aldridge-Tinker Scholarship for Instrumentalists and Runner-up for the Helen and George Greer Instrumental Award

- Friana Engineer, Honorable Mention for the Ruth and Sidney Salzman Award for Strings
MENDON HIGH SCHOOL

The Young Artist Auditions is an annual competition sponsored by the Rochester Philharmonic League since 1955 to encourage and acknowledge the accomplished musicianship of high school age students. It includes five winner Awards of $750 each, $300 to runners-up, two Scholarships of $1,000 each and a Grand Prize: the opportunity to perform in concert with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. The awards are open to young musicians in grades 10 through 12 from the nine-county region surrounding Rochester, New York.
