Capital Project Begins with Parking Lot Adjustments

In March 2023, the community approved a $69 million Capital Project. Construction related to this project is scheduled to begin the first of May at Barker Road Middle School and Mendon High School. Some parking lots will be utilized to accommodate construction vehicles and supplies. Parking will therefore be limited and some meetings at these schools will be moved to other locations.

Visitors to Barker Road Middle School can continue to use the northernmost lot off Barker Road. District Office visitors will also be asked to use this lot (near door 4) once the northeastern lot is closed, which is anticipated to happen in June.

Mendon High School will provide temporary visitor parking in front of the school on the lawn.
