Recently, the District’s Communication Department was recognized by the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) for its work. In addition to Honorable Mentions from NSPRA for the District’s printed newsletter and calendar of schedules and events, PCSD received highest honors with a PRism Award (PRSA) for the capital campaign vote community relations campaign.

Each year, the Communications Office supports Pittsford’s nine schools by providing important print and electronic communication about district-wide initiatives and events. Whether sharing news of student accolades, achievements and events, constructing the annual calendar, or posting timely news to the website, Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn, the Communications team works tirelessly to ensure families and community members are informed.
