Pittsford Students Recognized with Scholastic Awards for Art and Writing

Congratulations to the Pittsford Mendon and Sutherland High School students who won 2025 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards! The Scholastic Awards began in 1923 and are administered by the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers in New York City.  This year’s entrants were judged by the faculty of Alfred University who work in the arts field. Awards include Honorable Mention, Silver Key and Gold Key. Gold Key winners advance to the national competition. To enter the competition, students selected and digitally submitted images of their art/writing and related paperwork.
