2026 Capital Project Passes

As a result of the March 6, 2026 vote, Pittsford Central School District's 2026 Capital Project referendum passed. Thank you to the PCSD community for your support!

The results are as follows: 872 total voters

Budget: $48.7 million, tax neutral

Yes: 751

No: 121

Guided by responsible financial planning, the Capital Improvement Project is designed to address priority infrastructure needs identified in the New York State-mandated Building Condition Survey, without increasing the tax levy. This project will help preserve, enhance and protect the District’s facilities while supporting the Pittsford Schools’ commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in education. 

Priorities of this project include:

  • Roof replacements and protective coatings
  • Boiler steam plant and MHS water line replacements
  • Replacement of public address systems and installation of emergency generators
  • Addition of air conditioning in large group instruction areas and areas of assembly
  • Corridor floor tile abatement and replacement
  • Parking lot repaving
  • Replacement of chillers and reduced pressure zone (RPZ) devices
  • Replacement of playground equipment at ACE
