Lindsay Ali

Lindsay Ali, Ed.D., was approved as Director of Student Services at the August 12 Board meeting. With a start date of November 10, 2025, Ali replaces Shana Cutaia who will begin her role as Superintendent of Pittsford Schools on December 1.

“We are excited to welcome Dr. Ali to her new role. Her depth of experience in special education, student services leadership, and administration will be an asset to our District and to the students and families we serve,” said Superintendent Michael Pero.

Ali has served as Principal of Park Road Elementary School since 2023 and was Director of Pupil Personnel Services at Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District (HFL) from 2018-2023. During her tenure with HFL, she also served as a Teacher on Special Assignment/Administrative Intern from 2016-2018, Special Education Teacher-Team Leader from 2012-2016, and Coach of Modified Girls Soccer and Lacrosse.

Prior to her work with HFL, Ali served as Dean of Students (2011-12) and Resource Teacher and Compliance Facilitator (2008-11) for Torrence Creek Elementary School in Huntersville, NC, and as a Special Class teacher for children with autism at J.M. Morehead Elementary School in Charlotte, NC, from 2006-08.

Ali earned an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Rochester, in May 2025; a B.S. in Marketing from John Carroll University, an M.S. in Education from Nazareth College of Rochester, a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Pennsylvania State University, and a Certificate in Educational Leadership from the University of Rochester.

Stephanie Barg

Stephanie Barg was appointed as Assistant Principal for Mendon High School, with a start date of August 1, 2025. “We welcome Ms. Barg to the role of assistant principal for Mendon High School,” said Superintendent Michael Pero. “She has a history of student-focused leadership that will serve Mendon High School well.”

Barg most recently served as the principal of Jefferson Road Elementary School. Prior to that, she served as Pittsford’s Social Emotional Learning Coordinator and the District’s Student Services Specialist/Teacher on Special Assignment. During her time with Pittsford Schools, she has supported school mental health teams and co-led the Trauma, Illness, and Grief response team. She also served as Chair of the PCSD Health and Wellness Committee and managed the URMC’s Expanded School Mental Health clinic at PCSD. She began with Pittsford Schools in 2012 as a general education teacher for grades 1, 2 and 5. Prior to her employment with Pittsford Schools, she served as a long-term substitute in Waterloo Central School District, and a fourth-grade teacher for Orange County Public Schools in Orlando, FL.

Barg earned a B.A. in History from University at Buffalo, a M.S. in Inclusive Childhood Education from Nazareth University, and a M.S. Ed. in Educational Leadership from St. John Fisher University. She was awarded the Distinguished Leader Award from her cohort at St. John Fisher University and is certified as a School Building and District Leader in NYS.
