Mendon High School a FAFSA Challenge Winner
Mendon High School was named a “2025 FAFSA Challenge Winner” for expertly guiding students and their families through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process and connecting them with opportunity programs.
Congratulations to Mendon High School 2025 graduate Adriana Rivera who was awarded a scholarship via the 2025 FAFSA Challenge. The scholarship recognized Rivera’s self-advocacy and critical thinking skills as well as her support for student resources, influenced by her experience transferring as a freshman.
EdTrust-New York hosts the FAFSA Completion Challenge, which is designed to positively recognize high schools for high FAFSA completion rates and for improvements in FAFSA completion rates across New York’s OSC Economic Regions. Each winning school receives a $750 dollar scholarship to award to an outstanding student.
