Family Learning Network: Resources to Support Families and Student Success

As students head back to school this fall, Pittsford Schools' Department of Pupil Services is introducing Family Learning Network, a new online resource designed to help families support their child's success both in and out of the classroom.

Family Learning Network is a centralized online hub that supports families as they navigate their child's growth, development, and educational journey. Through the Pupil Services page of the district website, parents and caregivers will have on-demand access to trusted information and resources, allowing them to explore topics whenever it is most convenient.

The site will provide easy access to information on a variety of subjects that support students at home and promote their success in school. It will feature links to articles, Power Hour video archives and community resources on topics including social-emotional learning, mental health and wellness, child development, safety, and other areas of interest to families. Over time, Family Learning Network will continue to grow with the addition of videos, recorded presentations, and other family resources.

The Family Learning Network provides families with trusted information and practical strategies they can use at home while connecting them with district and community resources, strengthening the partnership between home and school.

The goal of Family Learning Network is to empower parents and caregivers with accessible, relevant, and timely information that supports student well-being and achievement. By increasing family engagement and strengthening home-school partnerships, families can feel more connected, informed, and supported.
