Pittsford’s Homecoming week (October 6-11) was full of school spirit and community pride. The Friday night football game was an exciting match-up that came down to the wire, with Penfield taking a 27–21 win in overtime. While the scoreboard didn’t land in Pittsford's favor, the energy, pride, and community spirit in the stands were second to none.
That Pittsford pride continued as alumni were recognized during the 2025 Pittsford Schools Athletics Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Congratulations to this year’s inductees: Ashley Cerniglia, Danny Mendick, and Joe Thyroff.
Up next was the homecoming parade down Main Street on Saturday, October 11. Despite the rain, Pittsford families excitedly lined the streets with umbrellas open and rain jackets zipped, including one worn by a very happy, and dry, dog.
