Pittsford Robotics Team Claims Regional Crown
Congratulations to the Pittsford Robotics Team for being part of the winning alliance at the FIRST Robotics Finger Lakes Regional competition on March 22, 2026. The team captured the Regional Championship in an exciting best-of-three finals series that was won in the final match by just one point.
This victory represents one of the most significant competitive accomplishments in the program’s history and reflects the dedication of Pittsford students and mentors throughout the season. The Finger Lakes Regional brings together top robotics teams from across New York, other U.S. states, and international teams, including teams from China, Canada, and Turkey, making the level of competition especially high.
In addition to the championship, Team 3181 received the FIRST Team Spirit Award, recognizing the enthusiasm, energy, and sportsmanship our students bring to the robotics community.
