A Message from Superintendent Pero: State Aid and FDK

During my last update I shared that the initial Governor’s budget was a starting point and not, by any means, in a finalized form. I also shared our pledge to advocate with the Senate, Assembly and the Governor for an increase in Foundation Aid, a substantial increase in support for Full-Day Kindergarten (FDK) and the issues surrounding the sustainability of a FDK program. I am pleased to share the work that has transpired since my last update.
