Welcome!

This is my fourth year teaching in the Pittsford Central School District and I have never been more excited for school to start! I will be teaching both Regents and Genneral chemistry this year at Sutherland High School.

Prior to teaching, I worked in several laboratory settings in the Rochester area spanning from the Forensic Toxicology Lab for the Monroe County Medical Examiner's Office, to the Quality Assurance Lab in the Wegmans Bakeshop. 

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry as well as my Master’s degree in Chemistry Education from The College at Brockport. The picture on this page is from my short-lived “modeling” career at the college where you can still find me representing the Biochemistry Major on Brockport’s website.

Other than my love for science, I have a passion for music (I’ve been playing the guitar for just over twenty years now), exploring the National Parks, building computers, hiking, and playing disc golf as part of the Greater Rochester Disc Golf Club.

I am looking forward to getting to know all of you this year as we explore how the universe works at the atomic level!
