COVID-19 Positive Notifications Week of May 19, 2021 – May 26, 2021

School districts report positive cases daily to NYS and that information can be found at this link: The District is unable to legally disclose any further details or personal identifiable information about these individuals per the Federal privacy laws.

Contact Tracing

We are working closely with the MCDPH to complete contact tracing. The MCDPH will notify any individuals who are at risk of exposure, and these individuals will be placed into mandatory quarantine. If the MCDPH recommends further action by the District, we will immediately notify you.

Masking and Social Distancing

Although New York State is loosening its masking and social distancing guidelines, this does not pertain to public transit, nursing homes, homeless shelters, correctional facilities, schools and healthcare facilities across the state in accordance with the new federal guidelines. In other words, nothing has changed for schools, and masking is still required.

Please send any school-related questions to your child’s school principal or for District questions, please contact Dr. Patricia Vaughan-Brogan, our COVID-19 District Liaison, at

We wish these students and staff members a speedy recovery and good health to all.
