BRMS Morning Announcements – January 10, 2019 – DAY 1

Newbery members:  There will be a meeting today after school in the library lab.  Please try to make it; our field trip is 2 weeks away!

Academic Challenge Bowl is cancelled today!

Select Women’s Chorus will meet today after school. All members must attend.

Art Club meets today in Mrs. Brown's Room after school! Hope to see you there!

There will be a Dungeons and Dragons gathering afterschool today in Room 225.  Please bring your character sheets from last meeting and be prepared to jump right in this week. If you have misplaced your sheet or haven't attended yet, no worries. We are there to help you and have extras. Those that have not brought in their permission slip need to bring it to the meeting!

There will be a MathCounts meeting today afterschool in room 207. All students who enjoy solving challenging math problems are welcome to attend.

Did you get your tickets yet to see “Grease”, the 7th and 8th grade musical? Opening night is one week away! Tickets are still available for all performances: Thursday, January 17 at 7pm; Friday, January 18 at 7pm; And Saturday, January 19 at 2 and 7. Tickets are $10 and are available at or at the door!!

6th Grade Fun Night is tomorrow!! Our favorite DJ will back so get your song requests ready. We have lots of fun things planned so make sure to clear your calendar and join in the fun Friday, January 11th at 7pm. Pizza and water will provided. Candy and drinks will be available to purchase. We hope to see you there!! If you haven’t attended a Fun Night have your parents fill out the online permission slip on the PTSA website. Parent volunteers are still needed! Volunteer Signup:

The Adventure Club bus to Pink the Rink is FULL. Sorry, we can't accept any more permission slips.

The next meeting for The VAULT will be tomorrow after school. 

Best Buddies will be meeting on Tuesday, January 15 in room 123


BRMS Sports Update:

The Pittsford Boys Swimming and Diving Varsity and JV teams defeated Victor on Tuesday and are now 8-0 for the season!  Next up the Panthers take on rival Fairport, who are also currently undefeated, TODAY at MHS!  Come on out to the pool and cheer the Panthers on as they look to keep their winning streak alive!

Modified boys swimming lost a close meet yesterday to HFL. Jacob Schumacher and Dylan O’Donnell finished first and second in diving. Lucas Golembieski won all three of his events. Van Wilton won the 50 fly. Next up is Penfield at home.
