Summer Visitors Allowed to Enter PCSD Buildings

Beginning on Monday, July 6, 2020, visitors will be allowed to enter Pittsford Central School District buildings during the summer months. The District is implementing procedures to ensure the safety of our visitors, staff members and students.

Visitors must follow the procedures below when visiting PCSD buildings:

  1. Visitors must enter the building at the designated entrance.
  2. A face mask or covering is required upon entry. Posters are placed at all building entries to remind visitors to use face masks or coverings.
  3. At the visitor entry point, before entering the building, each visitor will be required to answer the following questions:
    • Have you tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
    • Have you knowingly been in close contact in the past 14 days with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19?
    • Have you experienced any of these symptoms in the past 24 hours that are new or not usual for you?
      • Temperature of 100 degrees or higher
      • New cough
      • Hard time breathing
      • Sore throat (not due to allergies)
      • Muscle or body aches
      • Recent loss of taste or smell
      • Congestion or runny nose
      • Nausea or vomiting
      • Diarrhea
      • Fatigue
  1. If a visitor answers yes to any question, entry will not be allowed by anyone in their party.
  2. If the visitor(s) answer no, then they can continue to the process of obtaining a visitor badge.
