Students Win Scholastic Writing Awards

Pittsford Central School District high school students won a combined 14 Scholastic Writing Awards this year. Within the 29 possible categories for submission, 340,000 works of writing and art were submitted by students from every state in the nation for adjudication at the regional level in 2018/19. Congratulations to our talented students!

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is the nation's longest-running and most prestigious scholarship and recognition program for creative teens in grades 7–12. This honor opens doors for students by providing access to scholarship programs and workshops and the ability to have work published and displayed in regional and National Exhibitions.
